Since i applied for appeal to AAT and still I have bridging visa in effect so I should still get Medicare facilities. Any one has same situation please advice. I don’t see the point of disputing your visa application unless you have a nomination in place, so if your potential sponsor is not disputing the nomination your visa application will automatically fail. That will give you some time (several months) but if AAT says that your application is not valid I am afraid you are going to be screwed! Cippalippa Posted February 11, 2018 Share Posted February 11, 2018 After a couple of days they will write to you saying that they received an application and asking to attach supporting documents. To be honest I would not know exactly when they will say if it is invalid or not (not a migration agent). You should probably contact a migration agent to see what you can do to buy time. I regret to inform u that AAT appeal for visa been rejected in 10 days because there was no appeal for nomination for a guy I met last month. So talk to a good lawer or else try to convince ur employers that u r going to buy sometimes for nomination appeal as anytime it can be withdrawn. I have claimed 3 years 8 months. I don’t have bechlors degree.we going to apply AAT soon. My migration agent lodged my RSMS nomination and visa application as a financial broker nec in Feb 2017. RCB was approved before RSMS application. However, nomination was refused in June 2017 and the migration agent advised me to apply for the AAT so we did. But she did not do anything about my visa application. I found out late that my visa application was refused and she did not lodge AAT for my visa application. She only lodged AAT for the refused nomination. Now, Perth has been removed from the locations for RSMS since March 2017 and my visa application was definitely refused (did not lodged for AAT). Just in case the nomination was approved after the hearing from AAT, can I still lodge my visa application? Hopefully someone can advise me on this matter... thank you very much in advance. I'm not sure what grounds you could appeal with. "Most occupations in this unit group have a level of skill commensurate with a bachelor degree or higher qualification. At least five years of relevant experience may substitute for the formal qualification. In some instances relevant experience and/or on-the-job training may be required in addition to the formal qualification (ANZSCO Skill Level 1)."
