We are New Zealand citizens and looking at moving to Brisbane next year, at that time my partner will be in his second year of a building apprenticeship and was wondering if anyone has any knowledge on how this will work? Can he look for work in Aus as a second year apprentice, or would he need to start again? I have tried googling this but can only get information in regards to other immigrants not New Zealanders. Does anyone know how this works? I have emailed an australian apprentice company (unsure what company exactly i should be messaging?) and also his current apprenticeship company but still no reply so thought i would try here.
