That could happen, even if you were living in the same town

My Aunty fell over and nobody found her for days, even though everyone lived within a one hour drive

I'd say if you aren't sure then  don't do it.  When I was younger and my parents in their 60/70 I had the naive view  that it wasn't going to be a problem and whilst they were fit and healthy it

In non-covid border restriction times I’d say that living in Australia isn’t as far away as you think.   I have a Vodafone package that gives me thousands of minutes to the UK and call my parents on

I'm inclined to agree with you.  I've known many people over the years from the UK.  Many are still here and well settled but a few did go back.  Not until I joined this forum and read posts about yea
