Geoffrey Posted June 7, 2021 Share Posted June 7, 2021 Hello, I am progressing with my skills assessment application and I am trying to fill in the employment evidence as a self employed contractor. I am unsure how I can attain letters from contracts over 10 years ago. I have the actual signed contracts of engagement from these jobs, but there is no headed employee letter that they are asking for. Has anyone been through this? Ausvisitor Posted June 8, 2021 Share Posted June 8, 2021 I went through this, I used an agent (now retired) to do all the submissions work. It ended up involving lots of cross referencing between bank statements, purchase orders and sworn statements from colleagues/contacts that were also around at the time. @wrussell who responded would be able to help you, worth giving him a call. It really is too easy to get this wrong when it's not a simple employee/employer relationship you are trying to show.
