stull Posted April 19, 2021 Share Posted April 19, 2021 Hi, I will be sitting the PTE Academic this coming Friday for the first time and I have been provided with 25% additional time to undertake the exam. I have searched on the PTE website and spoken to them on Live chat and over the phone but they do not seem to be able to give me an answer to my question. My question is for the time responses sections of the exam will I be given 25% more time to respond. For the exam you have 40 seconds normally for the retell lecture for your response, I have asked will the additional time will this be 52 seconds. For the essay questions you get 20 minutes so would I be given 25 minutes. When I have asked they say it is 25% overall additional time, but I do not understand what they mean, as if most of the parts are times apart from the questions on the listening section.
