The total number of cases so far is 62 out of 9.2 million doses given n the EU  (of which 14 have died).

There's an interesting article which suggests it may be that the vaccine made its way directly into the bloodstream, which caused a much more servere reaction. Would it be safer if they gave it in the bum? I remember they used to give many injections in the bum.

I recently read an article which suggested the clotting was caused by the anti bodies these people created, and as such it was person specific and not vaccine specific.

The article seemed to imply that if these people had any vaccine, or in fact caught covid, they were at high risk of clotting.

We know already that covid can have a strange effect on the blood. There have been several cases of young people clotting and having strokes from covid.

Maybe if they can identify the risk group these people can be vaccinated under observation.

As a number of middle aged women have been affected, I did wonder whether there was a link to the birth control pill which is also known to cause blood clots.  From personal experience, I know that GPs switch older women to lower dose mini-pills to reduce the risk of blood clots and high blood pressure.  Of course, it could be any number of things and no doubt there are loads of scientists beavering away to work out what may be causing this reaction in a relatively low number of people.

I agree and have read about a possible connection to the pill.

There seems to be much speculation as to what is the cause and even if there is a link.

Hopefully they can isolate risk groups/factors pretty soon.

Well they already do Covid tests in the bum so why not vaccines too.

Don't Australia and New Zealand offer visas for wealthy people? I thought Australia offered one where you can purchase a business?

Australia certainly does:

All you need is 5 million Australian dollars invested in something as safe as Australian government bonds for four years and you'll be on your way to a PR visa.

Having read the article it sounds like an unnecessary test so that China can demonstrate it's superiority by humiliating foreign visitors.

Not really. I had my jab in an open plan room in sight of about fifty people.

I don't mind the odd bit of private skinny dipping, but I'm not really into public exposure.
