Chris 2020 oz 3 Posted February 27 I'm currently waiting for my sons 101 visa before we can move back to oz. Now that the government have passed law stating the 101 visa can be approved whilst in the country. Is there another visa he can travel while we wait for his visa to be approved. With quarentine not sure if its worth doing as we are not sure how long his 101 visa will take to be approved. So stressful
DukeNinja 297 Posted March 1 (edited) If you are a couple and one of you really needs to travel to Oz to start work, then maybe the other parent can stay put until the 101 is granted? It's gonna cost in quarantine fees, but at least that'll relieve some of the worries. That is something we had considered when we submitted our 101. We have been waiting nearly 12 months for the 101 visa. Were hoping its not going to be to much longer. Would prefer to go as a family but hopefully it won't come to me going on my own.
