Guest
Hi, I am a PR based in WA but got a travel exemption to fly home last July due to family reasons. I want to return after Easter. There is conflicting information online about what I need to do. Its not as simple as booking a flight and returning anymore. I see that I now need a negative covid-19 swab and fill out a travel declaration 72hrs prior to departure. also is there still caps on flight numbers? I cant seem to find any info online? I'm happy to fly into another state to quarantine if needs be. Any advice appreciated

Any advice appreciated Definitely still caps on flight numbers - it's not for lack of places on flights (many airlines would be happy to fly full planes to Australia) it's for lack of places in quarantine hotels. Several states recently cut their capacity by 50% in response to the more contagious UK variant of Covid.

Any advice appreciated Hi There is quite a lot of info here that may help - https://www.wa.gov.au/organisation/department-of-the-premier-and-cabinet/covid-19-coronavirus-travel-and-quarantine Just be wary they will change the rules pretty quickly if there is an outbreak.
