Request Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 Hi, Soon I will be applying for Australian Citizenship. I haven't travelled to Indai since 2018. I have submitted my recent PCC when I got my PR in 2020. However, that PCC states ' Immigration purposes other than citizenship' Do I need to apply for another PCC for citizenship or would my 2020 PCC be acceptable? path2aus Posted January 21, 2021 Share Posted January 21, 2021 PCC's are only valid for a year from the date it was obtained, so you might have to get another PCC anyways. Also the PCC is only required from India if you have travelled to India after you received your PR or while your PR was in process after submitting the PCC.
