Not much English accent left if any. But I was from south of England so i don't think a very prominent accent to start with. I know someone who has a strong northern accent that has lived in Australia for over 20 years. I simply deduced that as Aussie pubs started post 1788 then presumably the same rule applies to British pubs. Before 1788 they fit your maxim that history separates British pubs from Aussie pubs.
