Wanderer Returns
Any permanent residents onshore who've recently had RRVs granted, who could comment on processing times? My wife is onshore and her RRV expired in August. We returned earlier this year after 5 years in the UK, so she won't meet the 2-year residency rule for some time. No plans to travel overseas at the moment (obviously), but thinking ahead here to when borders reopen and quarantine has ended. Is there any chance of obtaining a 5-year RRV if you are onshore, but don't meet the 2-year residency rule? Thanks in advance.

Processing times for onshore applications have been pretty quick in recent months.

That's good to know. Are we talking days or weeks here?
