Kelpie 15 Posted October 18, 2020 How easy is it to change nbn provider? Is it like the UK where you choose a new provider and they deal with the switching or do you need to cancel one, choose a new provider, and hope that it all aligns?

In my experience it's been the latter, where we had to do all the leg work. Unsure if thats the norm though 1 :evilface_frowning_s
Kelpie 15 Posted November 14, 2020 Thanks for the replies. I had suspected that you need to do the leg work yourself in Australia unlike in the UK where the new provider does everything. I'm wondering if it's even worth changing supplier as I don't want to end up with no internet for days on end. #FirstWorldProblems
JetBlast 442 Posted November 15, 2020 Go to your new provider and ask them you want to Churn the connection (it means just switch the existing service to a new provider) and once it’s done terminate the old connection. it can we done within a few hours.
