For clarity, I'll be doing the same role just with a different sponsor. Saw the other thread from a few months back when it seemed to be taking months but wondered if this is still the case now or if they've picked up the pace since then? As a side question, can the process of transferring start when I'm still at my existing employer or do I need to have left them before the application can begin? I wouldn't recommend leaving your current employer until the transfer is complete - if there's a delay in the processing or if, for some reason, the new employer pulls out or if they're rejected as a nominating employer, you'd be stuck without a sponsor.
