State nomination for visa 190 in Victoria

Hi everyone,

I would like to ask for more details on the work experience require on Victoria State Nomination for visa 190. Some occupations require work experience but there are no information on if it needs to be full time or not. I reckon it might be dependent on each specific occupation which is assessed by a separate department. For example, ACS considers 20 hours or more per week as full time work, so an occupation such as Systems Analysts will requires 3 years of work experience with 20 hours or more per week.

So my question is how work hours is defined when you apply for state nomination in Victoria or we don't need it at all?

Please refer to the following link for the list of occupations: https://liveinmelbourne.vic.gov.au/migrate/visa-nomination-occupation-lists/visa-nomination-occupation-list-for-victoria

You may find that the requirement list of the state nomination application includes the skill assessment which has work experience approval that the state might use. However, the approved experience doesn't necessary the same of the total work experience. I've seen successful applications which applicants only provided necessary work experience periods to ACS that they need for claiming points for the visa, and when it comes to state nomination they provided the full work history to satisfy the work experience requirement.

Thanks
