Citizenship approval - have to be in Australia?

Recommended Posts

I've read on Immi that you need to be in Australia for when your citizenship is approved. What about if you have a holiday abroad booked? I know not likely but if the process takes a long time I don't want to mess it up with a holiday. Thanks in advance.

It doesn't mess it up, they know you are out of the country so they just don't send you the approval until you return.

I also think during the gap between test and approval if you know you are going out of country you should let them know
