Eagle2020
Hi has any been granted a visa (offshore) since March? Just wondering if visa's are still being processed (all be it slowly) during this pandemic. If so which visa was you granted?
paulhand
Yes ... I am still seeing permanent visas being granted to offshore applicants. Some quite quickly.

Do you know if processing is in date or occupation priority order? I think you are being unrealistic to expect to hear something soon for a case submitted in March. They are usually much closer to 5/6 months - so probably still a few months of waiting

I am waiting on a 489 for over 8 months now. Do you think it’s likely they will start processing offshore soon? Thanks.

Hey Paul, have you noticed any 190 or 189 offshore applications which have recieved a grant lately? It's my understanding that DIBP will be focusing on onshore rather than offshore applications, so any offshore candidates receiving a grant - at this moment in time - are nothing short of lucky.
