COVID19 - ETA Expiry

Looking for some advice.

 

We have a relative staying with us (British Citizen), but lives in South Africa. She came into Australia on an ETA which is now nearing expiry. She is unable to return back to South Africa due to the travel restrictions.

What should we be doing to extend her stay lawfully?

Apply for an onshore visitor visa, subclass 600.

Hi, I have an issue other way round. I have a PR which expires Nov 2020 end. I am not sure when the travel restrictions will be removed. Will the Immigration authorities consider an extension of dealine to enter Australia.

As a PR you can still enter Australia.
If you are talking about the initial entry date on your visa then that should be no problem. If you are talking about the expiry of your visa, then no, you will need to apply for an RRV.
