Elle_Lu
I'm looking into a NT state sponsored visa as a Marketing Specialist. If you want to apply for a visa under that skillset the NT migration website says: "Offshore applicants must provide evidence of having received an offer of employment by a NT employer in their nominated occupation or a closely related occupation." Can anyone explain what this means? Do I need to get a job offer before getting the visa? Is that even possible? I've been scouring the internet for answers, so if anyone can shed any light on it for me that would be really appreciated! Thanks!

Yes, you need to get a job offer before you apply for NT nomination. 1 hour ago, Elle_Lu said: Is that even possible? Difficult, but not impossible. Looks like I've got my work cut out trying to find someone willing to give me a job offer before I even have the visa. Fingers crossed. Google a list of companys who you think may suit, and stay up late one night to call them and ask about vacancies. Emails are ok but very often go unanswered unless your here in Aus. Good luck as stated above it can be tricky but not impossible. Cal x
