Rover5
Hi, I am 58 yo and have a final salary pension in the UK starting age 60, I also have a small superannuation fund in Australia. I expect a nearly full UK state pension at age 67. I hope to move to Australia by the time I'm 60 and use my final salary pension and my Australian superannuation to live on. At age 67 I intend to receive my UK state pension in Australia as I don't think I will get much Australian pension after means testing. Can you see any flaws in this plan? Kind regards, Michael
Andrew from Vista Financial
Hey Michael It's difficult to be able to see any flaws in your plan without knowing about your circumstances in full and goals and objectives. This would include other assets that you may have and the amount of pension you are entitled too as well as and very importantly your retirement income requirements, this may assist you with this one: https://www.superannuation.asn.au/resources/retirement-standard Could you elaborate?
