How do we do this? I always thought that the "technically correct rules" where that you had to have a medical at the point of applying. As a concession to applicants (because it was taking so long to progress applications) they adopted the process of issuing a request for further info for medicals and giving you 28 days to comply. I’m in exactly the same situation and have uploaded a letter on immi to inform them their panel of doctors not taking examinations at the moment and need more than 28 days....hopefully common sense prevails! good luck with it all.
