taless Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 Hello, I hold dual citizenship, one being NZ. I am currently in Australia on the Special Category Visa (not the permanent version), having only entered Australia in 2018. I'm thinking of applying for a Permanent Visa (perhaps 189). 1. If I am successful in getting the 189 visa, can I have the 189 Visa linked to both passports, so that I can travel on either passport and still enter Australia on the PR visa? 2. If they only allow 1 visa for only 1 passport - will it be ok to apply and link the 189 visa to my other passport, and not the NZ one? Appreciate any thoughts/ideas. Thank you! Quote
rammygirl Posted March 28, 2020 Posted March 28, 2020 As far as I know it will only link to one passport. Doesn’t really matter which, just use that one to come and go from Aus. Quote
