Recommended Posts

Hi Guys

I have received an invitation for the test. Do you know if I can upload a re-issued Birth Certificate of my child now before going to the actual test?

Congratulations. Which city mate?

Hi @ToowoombaBlue,

Applied July 2020
Citizenship Test Date June 2021
Location: Toowoomba, QLD

Regards,

We have too!

Hows the revision going?

Instead of thinking about what you're missing, try thinking about what you have that everyone else is missing.

Believe you can and you're half way there!

Randall have you had any luck with an invite to ceremony yet?

I did call them up and ask for one which could be why I got one so quickly.

Still waiting. What did you tell them? Did you have to give any compelling reason to get an invitation? When is your date?

@Randall

i messaged them that I need a hecs loan to progress with my nursing. It also made me get my 801 in 5 months as they sped it up when I did my nursing assistant course. Now I’m at uni and paying my domestic fees but I wanted to put them on hecs which is what I told them 🙂 26th July 🙂 the next ceremony is September. So you should be invited two months after me. I got the invite 3 weeks ago.

Hello @Chelsearoxanna

May I ask which council are you from? And was it a virtual ceremony that was given to you?

Thanks

Hi @ToowoombaBlue

Its going good I guess. I have done the practice test online. I am wondering how similar the real exam is to the practice exam?

Any idea?

Hi, how did you applied for your virtual or urgent citizenship ceremony? I called them and they said for me to email to Virtual.Ceremony@homeaffairs.gov.au but I got a reply that that mailbox is no longer in operation. Thank you and hope to hear from you soon.

Finally!!

Citizenship Ceremony: 2nd July 2021
Type: Express Ceremony (we requested Virtual, but i guess they no longer need to in WA)
City: Wanneroo, WA

Process would have taken just over 8months from start to finish!

Hi friends,

Just wondering what factors decide how long it takes from citizenship test to application approval?

23 Dec 2019, citizenship application lodged

25 Nov 2020, test invited

08 Dec 2020, test passed

04 Jan 2021, offshore

21 June 2021, back onshore

26 July 2021, APPROVED!

29 July 2021, Approval Letter Received

Awaiting Ceremony

I think once you've got that "Further Assessment", it's an indication for a long wait. I'm same as you stuck in Further Assessment since 3rd of March.
