The application states we must apply form outside Australia but can be in country when the decision is made. Does this mean we can apply in the UK and then travel on our e-visa's before Immi decides on the 870? Does anyone have knowledge of this, even for another type of visa? Any help would be appreciated. rammygirl Posted March 5, 2020 Share Posted March 5, 2020 Some visas can only be granted offshore if they were applied for offshore. This meant if you were onshore you had to leave for grant. More visas now do not have this applied. so you do not have to leave for grant ( a bit silly really). Ours was the same but a different visa, we could apply offshore but be granted onshore.
