Probably the brick would be quick and most humane.

Probably shouldn’t suggest this but we put a drop of brandy once for a poorly goldfish and it worked. Don’t blame me if you try this and it dies😞 !!!

Over the past week I have learned what wonderful people live and support each other out in the fire ravaged parts of Victoria. Amazing generosity of spirit.

Because they can't build or service bikes if their lives depended on it.

They built me one, and the gears, chain and breaks were not working. Brought it back for them to fix. A few days later picked it up, took it for a test ride, and it was as if no one had looked at it. The bike was still a mess. Gave it back to be fixed. I did this three times with them. They even built me another one, and the same issues occured!! Today I had finally had enough and asked for a full refund.

It was a total waste of time. Never again.

There are bombs and radioactive waste blocking Boris Johnson’s wish for the Scotland to Ireland bridge.  Stupidity from the past coming back to bite!

Boris - as in the same chap that couldn't manage to build a bridge across the Thames?

Can't see it happening myself.

What idiot expects a politican to know how to build a bridge ?

I certainly don't expect Daniel Andrews to be an expert on building level crossings, tunnels under the Yarra or new underground train loops.

What a crazy notion.

I have a sneaking suspicion that Scott Morrison doesn't know how to build a submarine.

What have I learned (sic) today

That being given a second chance doesn't always mean you learn wisdom and humility.

Priti still continues on like a arrogant over promoted individual trading on rarity value.

Unfortunately rare breeds are often gathered in for their fur

British say learn't more than learned but both are valid and correct English.

Sic is not required and doesn't prove you to be any smarter than anyone else.

Learn't?

No one says that in the real world.

That's because there's no such word.  It's learnt or learned, no apostrophe.

I have learnt (learn't, learned .... whatever grammar you want to support), that there are more narcissist sociopaths in the world than I realised.

Whatever you think about the horror of a supposed loving father setting light to his children and his ex-wife in Brisbane this week, this situation has really been brought home to me and my family as a dear friend in UK has finally made the move away from her controlling and coercive husband (who most of us thought was a bit suss but put up with him because we love her.....)   He has kidnapped her beloved 11 year old dog that she has had since a puppy, and taken said dog to France.  He is threatening to kill this beautiful Welsh Border Collie unless our friend goes back to him.   There is also a small child in the middle of this mess.   What is it with some people that they just have to think life is all about them and has to go their controlling way!?!
