The difference between commitment to the NT & researched into living and working in the NT

Hello all,

I am new to this forum, but I have been searching and preparing for applying visa sc491 for couples of months now. I intend to apply sc491 (state nominate) to NT. I am now gathering all the documents for submitting the application. I am overseas applicant, so, as far as I am concerned, I have to submit 3 documents; 1.) commitment NT letter 2.) researched into living and working in the NT and 3.) employability. and here come the questions :-

1.) Commitment letter and Research into living and working are different in my understanding. As the commitment letter seems to be generic than the research one.
2.) The NT website states that commitment letter must be no longer than 2 pages, but didn't mentioned how far we can go about the research one. So this means I can go longer than 2 pages, right?

I appreciate your support in advance.
