Rosie0709 Posted January 1, 2020 Share Posted January 1, 2020 Hi All, My sponsor is an Australian citizen, and i am British but we are currently and have been living in the UK for the past 3 years. It asks my sponsor to provide evidence of her residential address in Australia. Is this non applicable? Or should she request a letter stating that she is not infact a resident? David Stephens Posted January 4, 2020 Share Posted January 4, 2020 (edited) Rosie: If you are lodging a partner visa, the sponsor does not have to live in Australia if they are an Australian Citizen. There is no “usually resident” in Australia requirement for a sponsor who is an Australian Citizen; that requirement only applies to sponsors who are PR.
