Marisawright
This is about ping-ponging from Australia to France, but it will strike a chord with many UK/Australia ping-pongers I think. https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2019/dec/23/the-expats-dilemma-i-want-my-child-to-grow-up-in-australia-but-i-didnt-want-to-come-home
MARYROSE02
I did not like the article, Marisa. I don't quite know why. Perhaps it is because I no longer "ping-pong" having been in Sydney for eleven years on this second stint without ever going back to the UK. I still like the UK, love my football despite following Tottenham Hotspur, read the Daily Mail online several times a day and also watch Sky News UK, but I no longer want to live there or care about the alleged "tyranny of distance." Or perhaps I just did not like her writing style.
