Marisawright
It’s nothing to do with your visa. It freezes as soon as you cease to be a legal resident of the UK

If you are not yet claiming it but are no longer a legal resident of the UK it freezes at the value on the first day of entitlement (so if you are 50 now - and qualify for a full state pension at 67 - it would continue to grow in value the same as if you were in the UK but on your 67 birthday it freezes at the value). If you are already claiming it then it freezes on the day you cease to be a resident of the UK (remember that if you are onshore in the UK you are always entitled to its actual current value - but it reverts to the frozen value when you get back to Australia)
