Guest Jarrod
Hi I and my wife have gotten married this year . We haven’t lived together before we got married as I’m Muslim and in my religion your not allowed to live together . We have proof of our relationship together in photos and social media . But no proof of living together . We are now living together now that we’re married . Can this be a problem . Does this mean I’m not allowed to apply for partner visa ? Kodo
Congratulations brother may Allah bless you and your wife. Inshallah it won't be a problem as they totally understand that, even in another religions it's not normal to live together before marriage. Have a wonderful day Edited November 14, 2019 by Kodo

wrussell
Marriage is enough to satisfy the relevant schedule 1 (valid application) criterion. You still have to satisfy the minister that your relationship is mutual, genuine, exclusive and continuing and for these very little weight is given to a marriage.
