Lambert
Hi all, I am currently on a 482 Visa (secondary teacher) and my current employer wants to get me on a 186 visa. I reached out to a migrating agent who (after I paid a consultation fee) told me that a 482 visa can only result in a 187 visa (or any new regional visa). I work and live in a Metropolitan postcode so I am a bit worried now. However, I did some research and I can't find the information to prove this? I am happy to go with a migrating agent - but don't have much confidence in the inidivudals who told me this? Any advice is greatly appreciated
Raul Senise
If your nominated occupation is Secondary School Teacher with ANZSCO code 241411 then the subclass 186 is an option, provided you can meet the requirements of either the Temporary Residence Transitional (TRT) or Direct Entry (DE) pathways.
