It will vary each month as per the exchange rate of the market at that time, and the actual time of transfer into your bank, impossible to know ahead of time.
KGWragg
Thank you for your reply. We have noticed that our pension rate varies and we are aware this is due to our ongoing Brexit situation and trade with China issues, but we would have thought that the UK pension service when sending our pensions would tell us what Transfer rate we have received, we just wondered why they don’t do this!! again your comments are appreciated. kindest Regards, KGW. Alan Collett
Maybe have a chat with one of the specialist forex currency firms - they can provide a fixed exchange rate for you over a period of (I believe) 12 or 18 months. They will remit AUDs to your bank account in Australia if you remit GBPs to their client bank account in the UK. Moneycorp is a sponsor of this site - feel able to send a private message to me if you would like the details of a contact in Australia. Best regards. According to their website the UK pension service has outsourced the payment of pensions overseas to a US company. The people at the UK pension service probably have no idea what the transfer rate is and care even less.
