You probably need to wait till towards the end of 2021 the earliest to heard back from the immigration.

That's a really long waiting time.    Is there any way to speed it?

You will be looking at least a couple more years. Possibly 3 to 4.

3 to 4 years  is there a long queue?

It appears then that there are a lot of parents waiting for the approval.

Yes and to be honest, 3 to 4 years is fairly optimistic as wait times are blowing out significantly

To be blunt there are over 50,000 parents waiting in the queue and Australian government has reduced the number of visas allowed to only  6000 a year so yes the wait times have greatly increased and there is no way to speed it up unless they start to allow more than 6000 a year

people who applied in August  2015 have just been getting their visas so that’s 4 years and the queue has massively blown out from 2015 onwards

You're probably looking at around another 4 years if not more

143 Lodged  21/6/17  acknowledged and first vac paid 7/8/17
