curumo
So i plan to apply for 489 visa and i want to take my de facto wife with me, but i dont quite understand the process here. will we need to apply separately for her visa and PAY additional 4000aud for it as well? up until today i thought i will just include her in my application... paying extra and (likely) waiting additional time for her visa to process AFTER mine is a huge deal for me
Marisawright
You need to include her in your application

rammygirl
There is a fee for the additional applicant but just one visa application.
paulhand
You include her as a dependent in your application. You need to pay an additional applicant fee (which is currently $2,025 - more if she "is assessed as not having functional English"). You will need to provide evidence that she is your de facto partner.
