Martina
Hi all, I thought it'd be great if we shared our experiences with CO contacts for VIC 190 lodged in May. I've lodged my visa on the 30th of May, so it's been 80 days since the lodgement. No CO contact so far My status remains 'received' Share your experiences please. Sarathkumar
I have lodged VIC 190 on March 15 2019 ! No contact yet ! Status says "Received" . My colleague got VIC 190 approved last month after waiting for 8 months. However, my another colleague is waiting for the last 13 months, stills his status as "Received." So let ' us be patient ! It is unusually slow in recent times because of the government decision to reduce the PR intake.

Hi Surath, I don't think the government decision would affect the processing time of 190 visa. This would most likely affect invitations, not processing times. BTW my immi account is now showing 9-13 months. You should be contacted soon. Good luck and keep us posted. Edited September 10, 2019 by MaggieMay24 Removing reference to external site. Dax
Hi Martina, Understand from the note in your profile, there is a comittment letter to VIC. Am I correct that VIC requires such letter for all 190 applicants ? Or it is because you have submitted EOI to multiple states ? Actually my wife is a theatre RN (70 + 5), we lodged EOI to VIC on July 31 but still not yet received any pre-invitation.. Wondering if our marks are not sufficient ? Thanks. Hi, I have no idea if they request it in all cases. They wanted it from me because I lived in Sydney for 4 years so I had a history in other state and they weren't sure if I'm genuine. This is typical for VIC as they want people to commit fully and preferably stay there even after the two year commitment. I'd say that your wife points are sufficient but the whole immigration is currently extremely slow (slowest in a decade I've read) so it's a waiting game. Good luck to you

Good luck to you Thank you Martina and good luck to you too. We are wondering if we should lodge an EOI to SA (heard that they offer invitation faster)? SA is actually our alternative choice but we are mindful that they might not invite applicants who lodge multiple EOI to other states .. If you lodge two separate EOIs to different states they won't know that you've lodged to other state as well. I've heard that SA is faster but be mindful that they have specific conditions for RNs. hailey
Hi, does anyone know if you need to work in the same ANZCO code once your state nomination is approved?or could you work whichever field you get a job. I mean does 190 visa come with conditions attached?
