Hinadey
Asslam o alaikum I need information regarding visit visa. We applied visa for me and my child 7 months back sponsored by my husband. How long will it take? Now I am gonna apply for visit visa. Please guide me about required documents. Thanks
Jasmine Sallis
In cases where I have had clients apply for partner visas and then tourist visas while they are waiting they basically submit a 'mini partner visa' with almost the same documents proving the relationship and explaining intentions in relation to the tourist visa. Hope this helps, apologies can't be more specific as will depend on your individual circumstances.

Hinadey
Hmmm thanks But I have heard visit visa is rejected in that case when spouse has no reason to go back or visa 309 is already applied. And let me know please @UsmanSulehry for how long you are gonna apply visit visa 3 months, 6 or 12 and is there any difference?
UsmanSulehry
You will have to justify to department you solely want to visit temporarily and will not overstay. You can do so by providing supporting evidence if you're working in your home country. By overstaying visit visa you will not want to jeopardize your 309 application - DIBP should understand that. You call apply for 3,6 or 12 months. The best is to apply for 6 months I would suggest as 3 months is too short and 12 months is a lot.
