JonandSophietravel 171 Posted July 6, 2019 Hi everyone! Been following and posting under the visa categories for so long now but now we've finally got them, we can properly start planning the rest of the move! Does any know - would a shop-bought ukulele need any kind of treatment or is it considered fine because it's not made of reclaimed wood or anything like that? Trying to figure out what wood objects we can take and what we should try and sell/send to a charity shop. Many thanks in anticipation Jon 1 Occupation: 323316 - Watchmaker, Visa: State-sponsored (SA) 489 visa, high points category Points: 80 = Age (30), Qualification (15), Experience (5), Language (20), SA 489 (10) Passed IELTS: 9, 9, 8, 9: 20/07/2018, TRA application lodged: 24/07/2018, TRA positive result: 15/10/18 SkillSelect EOI lodged: 16/10/18, SA application lodged: 18/10/18, SA acceptance: 06/12/18 Visa lodged: 13/12/18, Visa granted: 20/06/19 Arrive in Adelaide: 26th August 2019
five 4 Posted July 7, 2019 I've just shipped a uke. As it's varnished the shippers I had quotes from assured me it would be fine because the wood's been treated. I hope so. I'll find out in a couple of months.
