False eye lashes, makeup, lip gloss.... What a joke!

Atrocious first touch, appaling passes....

If they feel the need to play a man's game then get on with it and play the game instead of trying to look good for the cameras....

I have to say I thought they were all very disappointing.  I don't care how much makeup they wear as long as they play a decent game and no team did that.

Yes very disappointing....
Though England looked a good strong team apart from the flicking eye lashes....

I don't know, hubby turned back to the China v Germany game because the Wales v Croatia men's game was so bad.

I saw that France mens team lost to Turkey without a shot on goal for the whole game.

Womens soccer isn't as skillful and coached to just keep the ball yet. They make enough mistakes for it to be interesting.

It's like watching mens Sunday League lower divisions. At least you're going to get shots on goal a few mistakes, a few good goals, some laughs to boot and some of the players are tidy to look at. A lot will be gay but it's hard to tell.

I've not watched any yet but might do. Aussie rules is much more exciting.

I see the Aussie team lost their first game. They might be regretting getting rid of their coach with no explanation why. I reckon he's going to be up for a big payout. Him and Israel Follau I hope.

I think more glamour would make it more popular.  Really tight hot pants and body paint tops might make it more interesting.

Watching paint dry is far more exciting than supporting Men’s or Women’s football

Disagree Tony,  I have seen clips of a few games , quite enjoyed it .

I couldn't believe it when I heard that women were banned from playing football in 1921 in the u.k - BANNED

And only allowed to start playing again in 1971

Thank God things have changed

It lacks the intensity/aggression of the mens game, but there's no diving and when they get tackled they get up without fuss .. makes a pleasant change.

Australia were awful and have been since new manager changed the system.
Italy were poor too.
Got to say England were good and enjoyable to watch apart from ridiculous false eye lashes...
Overall I'm quite happy to be able to watch the world's number 1 sport.....

Or migrate to men’s football.

Rugby is not football, it’s rugby. As for Aussie rules .... that’s a bit like normal football, watching, aka - watching paint dry

Remind me - what isn’t repetitive about kicking a ball around, diving and running around a field - for about 3/4s of the year?

Every football match is totally different, nothing repetitive, different levels of skills, many fantastic players, some not so good hence why we have so many levels and leagues......
Nothing is more repetitive than constantly throwing a ball at three sticks....!

I can't really get into watching most sport.  Tennis finals yes, a bit of rugby yes especially when Scotland is playing ( usually lose 😥) the occasional game of league when Manly (Sea Eagles) are playing and I have always enjoyed watching Liverpool (soccer) and that's about it.  I simply cannot get excited about cricket.

USA are very impressive yet again......
A totally higher standard in every way compared to Australia... We are years behind from our first touch to shooting...

They’re all football. And I don’t watch Rugby, I watch League, and AFL.  But as AFL must be watched live, I rarely see it these days.  And you would know my thoughts on girlie ball, nothing more needs to be said.
