helpplease
Hi all, I am currently on a 457 visa which expires middle of 2020 and looking to transfer employer and change my occupation on my current visa. The nomination under my new employer and occupation has been approved. Do I need to lodge a 482 visa application even though my current 457 visa doesn’t run out until 2020? If I need to lodge a 482 application, does this have to be approved before I start with my new employer? Thanks in advance!
POMMYGAL
Hey There I am looking to transfer my 457 to a new employer - how did you go in the end with this? Also how long did it take to have the nomination approved?
BB23
Hi! I am on a 482 TSS visa (Registered Nurse) . Last week I have resigned from my employer and I am shifting to a new employer who is willing to sponsor me and my tss 482 visa. My question is, how long does it take for an accredited sponsor to transfer my nomination for me to be able to work for them? Does anyone of you have the same experience? Last week my new prospective employer lodged the requirements for the transfer of the nomination. Any feedback or information would be greatly appreciated. MarshallR
I changed employer while on the 457, It did take approx 2 months for the approval to come through, this was back in 2017 though so may be different now
helpplease
The nomination took a couple of weeks to approve so a lot faster than I thought!
