opentage Posted March 14, 2019 Share Posted March 14, 2019 Hey All, I have been working in Australia for the same employer for 18 months on a Short Term (2 year) 457. I am employed as a ICT Business Analyst (261111), with 6 years experience, accredited by the Australian Computer Society. My employer and I are keen to apply for 186 Direct Entry PR. I have all the necessary documents and exceed the eligibility requirements (Superior English etc.) , however it is not clear whether my employer is required to conduct Labour Market testing. This was done prior to my initial employment 18 months ago, do they need to do this again because of the new/different visa application? I cant find an answer to this anywhere. Can you help?
