Congrats!!! do you have 65 points total including the 10 points for nomination? How long did you wait to get invited? How many years of nursing experience do you have? I only have 1 year of experience. I have total of 70 points (60 +10), currently doing my skill assessment with ANMAC, and then I will apply for 489 visa. I haven’t recieved any comfirmation email after applying for Step 1. Is it normal? I have 60 +10 points (Electrical Engineer). Do I have a high chance to get nominated from SI? Thank you. After step 1 I received an invite to submit a full application paying 770 dollars. And then received the final invitation from NSW and regional SI in 2 to 3 days. As mentioned on SI website, you will receive the outcome within 2 weeks. 2. As gloryppos mentioned above, it depends on the demand. I have seen on migrarion forum, some regions prefer work experience, some prefer English ability. 3. After submitting Full Application, you will receive the outcome within 6 weeks. Hope it helps. I used a different email to apply and it worked and I recieved the reference number after that. Hopefully it doesn’t affect my application as I applied twice. I am a graduate student with no relevant work experience (my occupation does not require previous experience to apply for 489). I’m currently working in a food take away shop (part-time). 1. Do I really need to get the Employer Reference for the hospitality job (food take away shop)? 2. Is the Employer Reference required for someone who has relevant work experience only? Thanks!
