Medicare for 186 TRT and Nomination and Visa Approval time for Cook

Hi Experts,

I applied for 186 (TRT) on 7th January 2019.. When Should I get the Medicare Card? Do I need to apply for Medicare anywhere or It’s come automatically at my residencial Address? When should I close my Bupa insurance ?

 

Note: How long does it take to approve Nomination and Visa for Cook Occupation Normally..?

You have to go to Centrelink to apply for Medicare. Click on the below link and download the form. Take completed form with copy of your current visa as well 186 acknowledgement letter and your passport. They will give you Medicare number straight away and card will arrive in couple of week at your address.
