My background is a bit complicated, I am Hazara from Afghanistan who was born and raised in Iran. iran is a county where they don’t treat refugee even if they were born there as a second class citizen. you have no right whatsoever! so, I was born and raised there and never seen my motherland Afghanistan. my parents came to city of Mashhad in Iran during soviet invasion. we have been living in Iran for many years and still we did not have any right to lives there. i decide to come to Europe and find a better life for myself and family. i am now here in uk and also I am uk citizen. i applied for WHV and after waiting since December last year, I got an email asking me fill out form 1399 and send colour copy of my passport! i was wondering has anyone else done this, if so what was the outcome and how long did it take? many thanks Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
Marisawright Posted February 1, 2019 Share Posted February 1, 2019 It's nothing to worry about, it is just part of their procedure. They have to send you that form because you lived in those countries. Just fill out the form with your information and send it back.
