RoisinDonnelly
I received mine in August. Although I only have 1.5 years experience so I need 20 points in my English exam (that is over 79) I got 76 so I repeated it today. Fingers crossed I get the results I need tomorrow to apply for the skilled visa

RoisinDonnelly
Have you done your English exam? I’m going to wait until I get an extra 10 points for my English before submitting EOI Did you not choose the state you wanted, or does it not work like that? Please let me know how you get on though. RoisinDonnelly
Hi everyone, I am checking my skill select and just curious if anyone has received an invitation yet for their visa? I have 70 points and applied for invitation on 21/12/2019
Maia20
Hi all, I’m going to make an application for a 189 visa but I’m right at the start of the process but I’m confused about 190/ 491 state nomination, I read a lot of people advising to apply for 190 for extra points plus I’ve seen people saying they’re making offshore applications but from everything I read it looks like I’d need to be living in Australia to have any hope of state nomination, is this right? I only have 65 points on 189 so from what I’ve read I’m not in a strong position to get accepted with that amount so state nomination would give more points especially in regards to the 491 as I’m looking at WA and state nomination gives an additional 15! Secondly, did anyone have their work experience assessed by AASW too, I’m wondering if family support work would count towards work experience (after I completed my BSc in Social Work) Any info appreciated! easterby91
Any updates here? My partner is a social worker, lodged EOI over 2 years ago with no invite to apply. When it expired she lodged it again and was invited to apply within a month. Only happened last week.
