Gold detectors

Been having a squiz myself and they range from about $100 to over $9,000.

It all depends on what you need a pinger for and how much you will use it looking for coins/jewelry, or prospecting. For coins etc. a $500  pinger would be quite adequate, whereas a prospecting pinger would be upwards of $1000. Obviously, the more expensive, the more discerning they are; blocking out highly mineralised sounds. Also, the more expensive, the wider range of conditions, ie, fully submersible.

Cheers, Bobj.
