health question

Hi I have a couple of questions about the medicals. Do you have to get a copy of your GP's notes to take to the medical? I have a minor condition which has only ever required treatment 4 years ago for a short period. It has not been problematic since then and for the last year in fact it has been perfectly normal. I am still under a consultant who I see twice a year who does a check on me. Is it worth getting a report from her to take to the medical or will they request it if needed? I have not declared anything on the visa application as the question asked did not requre me to say anything. I was thinking of metioning it at the medical and hence the report.

Any advice welcomed.

Hiya

I went through a similar dilema as i have a liver condition again not causing much of a problem at the mo and only 6mth specialist checks,i took a letter off the specialist stating what my condition was and any test etc id had,Dimia want to know if you can earn your keep over the next few years when here ,after my initial medical i was sent to see a private specialist who didnt do anything only ask questions but the man at Dimia said ok and here we are in Brissy so yes i'd take whatever you can because they may well ask for it if you dont and that just drags the waiting out ,,

good luck

Yes I agree. We had our medicals last week. My son is due to have an op in Jan so I took his paperwork to the medical. My husband and daughter had minor health problems and the panel doctor waited until I'd got copies of documents from my GP before sending it off. So my advice is take everything you can so there's no delay.
