Hi Guys

My spouse has applied for South Australia Visa 489, Occupation : Illustrator 232412
with 75 Points (including State Nomination)

The date of submitting our EOI was 27th September 2018.

Now, that Category says "Special Conditions Apply" and color coded "Red"
today on 19th November 2018.

(a) Will this affect our EOI response ?
(b) My agent is saying no need to stress out as this is only applicable for new entries!
Is this correct? Is he saying right thing ?

Please advise.

Thanks

Have you already applied for state sponsorship? Or only submitted an EOI?

If you applied for state sponsorship with South Australia before the “special conditions apply” raised the points you will be fine as South Australia will review your application based on the requirements at the time it was lodged.

This happened to me also, literally days after I applied for South Australia state sponsorship they raised the bar with “special conditions apply”.

Hi
So what's the Process after one receives "State Nomination' Approval ? Had applied for 489 Visa South Australia...
Please help me with an approximate time-line also.
Thanks in advance...
You are invited to apply for the actual visa.

The South Australia state nomination is 10 weeks.

Hi

We have applied for a South Australian Regional (Subclass 489) (Provisional) - State & Territory
on 27 November 2019 with a score of 75 Points.

By when can I expect a "Case Officer" ?

How much time it shall take more ?

The immigrations website is saying that the processing time is unavailable
due to low volume of applications!

Please let me know.

Thanks!

I am not able to track in the immigration account as we are applying via agent.

Yes. Have submitted the Medicals in March 2019. By when we will hear from

the CO ?

You can make a new immi account and import your application. Just need to mention Reference No, Passport No and you are ready to go track your application by yourself.

Thanks. It leads to 8-12 months of timeline - for Visa 489 Subclass.

This is not correct.

75% of visa applications are completed within 8 months.
90% of visa applications are completed within 12 months.

Statistically most applicants will have a visa before the 8 month mark.

Hi everyone,

I need a help with one of my query,

I’ve got my 489 state sponsored visa for SA(offshore applicant) in 2017.

On my first entry to Australia I landed in Melbourne, stayed there for like two weeks with my brother than moved to Adelaide, is that a breach of my visa condition 8539? Is that gonna trouble my 887?

If anyone faced same issue or have any link that can provide some information regarding same would be highly appreciated.

Thanks
