At Rockhampton you have Capricorn Caves http://capricorncaves.com.au/ but then I think Hervey Bay would be the other option. Bobj Posted November 11, 2018 Share Posted November 11, 2018 From Airlie, head off to Sabrina and Sabrina Beach and Campwin Beach Then down the Bruce Hwy from Satina. Chuck a left hand down a bit at the Yeppoon and Emu Park t/o and come back to Rocky. A nice piece of coastline on that road. From Rock, head south to Gladstone and Tannum Sands. Then down to Bundy and/or Hervey Bay. Cheers, Bobj. PS. At Farleigh, on the N side of Mackay, a right hander at the traffic island will take you away from 5 sets of traffic lights. Go down there, it is an 80 zone. Go to the r/about and turn right, go on over the bridge behind the Base Hospital, go through the r/about and then turn right at the traffic lights on to the Bruce Hwy.
