Hey Guys

im a bit unsure of how the process time works,

My MA advised me to wait until my nomination was approved until I lodged my application. Is the 15-17 months including the Nomination.

My nomination lodged Nov 2017

Nomination approved/visa application lodged Aug 2018

do I know have a further 15 months?

all my crim checks and medical and form 80 lodged but no case officer, how long until case officer looks at case?

Why you lodge your visa after 9 months ?

It will take time now. You should lodge both application together.

Good luck

We were advised by the immigration agent at the time, to do them separately. I realise now it would of been quicker to apply at the same time but it’s done now and the nomination got approved so I suppose I’l just have to be patient with the application, appreciate the comment. Wishing you the best with you’re application 👊

The program is set annually, with the total places available capped at a ceiling of 190,000 for 2018-19, unchanged from 2017-18. The total program is broken down into the following streams:

  • Skill – (Includes Skilled and Business Sponsored). This represents most places offered (128,550 places in 2018-19).
  • Family – is predominately made up of Partner visas (57,400 places in 2018-19).
  • Special Eligibility –  is the smallest stream (565 places in 2018-19).
