Marina G Posted October 11, 2018 Share Posted October 11, 2018 Hi, I travelled to Australia with an ETA as I was still waiting for my WHV (I already booked a flight, long story my) I didn’t check properly that it had to be approved only outside Australia and when I called home affairs before flighing they didn’t say it would be a problem going there that I will just have to wait to receive it. I am now waiting for 2 months for my visa, home affaires don’t give me more information just saying that my application is good and that I just have to wait. I now know that I have to go outside the country to receive it. That’s my plan however I don’t know how long it will take. Can you help if you were in that situation as it is very stressful being in Australia without any work rights and help from government.
