Davo453 Posted October 6, 2018 Share Posted October 6, 2018 So we have had our quote for a full (to the brim) 20' container to Perth PSS have come in with a competitive quote and they offer in addition a "Free" unaccompanied 25kg bag to your destination airport. Has anyone used the offer of sending a free bag? They mention them but are not specific about inbound charged, what could we expect? To go door to door it's an extra £80, it that worth it? tomgolland Posted November 20, 2018 Share Posted November 20, 2018 Hi Dave, we have just arrived in Brisbane and are expecting our container in the next week, we used PSS and took advantage of the “Free” 25kg box to the airport. In theory it is a good idea, but for us it was nothing but hassle! Customs and Quarantine costs were high (approx $150) it was a stress having to get out to the airport with no car to pick it up. If you plan it better than us and send some really important items and pay to get them delivered, then it could be helpful. Can’t help but see it as an “added value” freebie used as a sales tool.
